plays
Fran Pinkerton. Carey hails from Pittsburgh. She has extensive
theater experience in Chicago and Los Angeles. She was the
lead in the gothic comedy, Dinner that played at Slamdance
in 2000. Carey's most recent role was as Kim Field's best
friend in the film, Me and Mrs. Jones, which won "Best
Feature Film" and "Best Film Overall" at the
Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame's Filmworks Festival.
